WOOSTER — Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judith French didn’t hand down any decision on Wednesday afternoon when she visited The College of Wooster, but she did disseminate quite a bit of advice to students who are thinking about following in her footsteps.
Students seated around the perimeter of a basement room in Scovel Hall gave her their name and major, or in multiple cases, majors. “Judge Judi,” as she often calls herself for the purpose of name recognition, applauded the variety represented.
All of the majors named are applicable for prospective law school students, French said. “I want you to feel like you can choose whatever you want to be your major. You can major in Spanish and chemistry and go to law school.”
